Hundreds showed up with a resume in hand Wednesday at Pechanga Resort & Casino, where over 600 permanent positions still need to be filled.
To fill the remaining jobs before the opening of the resort's expansion in December, another job fair will be held in the Eagle's Nest area of the hotel on July 19 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. About 300 more applicants are expected to show that day.
The upcoming July job fair will feature recruiters looking to hire applicants in the Hotel Operations division, which includes Spa, Golf, Housekeeping, Valet, Bell Desk, Front Desk and Concierge. Both entry-level and supervisory positions are available, according to the resort.
Pechanga Resort & Casino spokeswoman Ciara Green said that the company is looking for "friendly, outgoing, personable people who are willing to go the extra mile to help a guest get whatever they need."
"We are a 100 percent customer service-oriented organization," Green said.
Pechanga Resort & Casino's $285 million expansion includes an additional 568 hotel rooms, a 4.5-acre pool complex, a two-story luxury spa and two new restaurants.
The additions created 750 new staff positions, 147 of which have been filled mainly by applicants who attended the resort's previous job fairs, according to Green.

Many applicants were offered jobs immediately at Pechanga Resort & Casino's first job fair last month, Green said.
"If someone has good experience, is available to work very soon, is outgoing, personable and can show off their people skills, they may be offered the job right on the spot," she said.
Prospective applicants who do not take part in the July career fairs will have another chance to attend on August 9. A hiring event for both the Food & Beverage and Hotel Operations divisions will take place that Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Eagle's Nest.
Additionally, there is a strong possibility that more job fairs will be added to the Pechanga schedule soon, according to the resort spokeswoman. She recommended checking their website for updates.
