Man Arrested for Allegedly Killing Girlfriend's Dog

Police are looking for the dog's remains

A Redlands man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly killing his girlfriend's dog.

Bryan Edward Brown, 40, of Redlands, was arrested on animal cruelty charges following an investigation that began May 25, when his girlfriend reported that she believed Brown killed her Chihuahua, "Jewels," and disposed of the body, the Redlands Police Department said.

Jewels was last seen at around 5:30 p.m. May 24 in the 0 block of Terracina Avenue, police said. 

The department is asking anyone with information on the dog's whereabouts to call the Redlands Police Department Dispatch at (909) 798-7681, ext. 1.
