A 34-year-old former audiologist pleaded no contest Monday to exposing himself and rubbing up against a 14-year-old girl at Universal Studios Hollywood on New Year's Day.
Hershel Louis Korngut was immediately taken into custody pending sentencing Nov. 13, when he faces lifetime registration as a sexual offender and as many as three years in prison for the felony conviction.
Korngut was originally charged with two felony counts of committing a lewd act on a child, one felony count of possession of child pornography and one misdemeanor count each of indecent exposure and sexual battery.
Prosecutors say he also rubbed himself against a 12-year-old at the amusement park and exposed himself to a woman at nearby Universal CityWalk on the same day. He was arrested when he returned later that week.
Detectives serving a search warrant at Korngut's home recovered evidence of child pornography, according to the sheriff's department.
