A man was injured after a fire broke out at a family home in South Gate early Wednesday.
The incident occured at a 2 story single family house in the 9400 block of Elizabeth Avenue at a 1:49 a.m, Los Angeles County Fire Department said. It was knocked down at 2:05 a.m.
In total, 7 family members lived in the home, and one man was taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the Red Cross are helping those displaced by the incident.
