Police Monday sought the public's help in identifying as many as four suspects involved in the killing of a 44-year-old man who was shot in the back in North Hollywood.
It happened about 9:15 p.m. Sunday at Saticoy Street and Bellaire Avenue, according to Sgt. Catherine Leon of the Los Angeles Police Department's North Hollywood Station.
"Witnesses observed a fight in the street and then heard three gunshots," Leon said.
Officers found the victim lying face-down on the corner suffering from a gunshot wound.
Two to four men fled the scene, according to various witness accounts, Leon said.
The getaway vehicle was possibly a white Honda four-door sedan, according to police.
The victim, whose name was being withheld pending family notifcation, died at a hospital, Leon said.

"So far, we have no motive and we don't know if it was gang-related," she said.
