A man was killed and a woman wounded Tuesday in a shooting in Long Beach.
Officers dispatched about 4:10 p.m. to the area of Broadway and Atlantic Avenue located the victims, both suffering from gunshot wounds, said Nancy Pratt of the Long Beach Police Department.
The man died at the scene and the woman was taken to a hospital with injuries of unknown severity, Pratt said. They were not immediately identified.
Cellphone video shows the moments after Long Beach police were dispatched to the scene.
Witnesses said the woman was shot in the leg and never lost consciousness. She managed to hop with one leg.
A possible motive for the shooting was immediately available and police said the investigation is ongoing.
