Man Sentenced for Kidnapping, Raping Anaheim Teen

Elias Xicotencatl was sentenced Friday to life in prison without parole for rape, sodomy by force and attempted kidnapping.

An Orange County man who kidnapped and raped a 14-year-old girl who was walking to school and who tried to abduct three other children will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Elias Xicotencatl was sentenced Friday to life in prison without parole for rape, sodomy by force and attempted kidnapping.

Prosecutors say the 26-year-old Anaheim man pulled a knife and forced the Anaheim teenager into his van in 2011, drove her to a location where he blindfolded and bound her, then raped her.

He also was convicted of trying to kidnap three other girls, ages 11, 12 and 16, for sexual purposes.

He was arrested in 2013 after his license plate was noted during a failed attempt.
