A man was shot and injured Wednesday morning during a large college night event outside of a skating rink in Fountain Valley, police said.
The shooting was reported just after 1 a.m. in the 9000 block of Warner Avenue, according to the Fountain Valley Police Department.
The man was transported to a hospital where he was expected to survive.
Fountain Valley police called in additional resources because of the large size of the crowd that gathered in the parking lot.
No arrests were made and no other injuries were reported.
