A man was in critical condition early Wednesday morning after he was shot at a gas station, police said.
The shooting was reported around 12:15 a.m. in the 1900 block of S. Hoover Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers arrived and found a man in his 20s suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a hospital where he was in critical condition, according to the LAPD.
Police said the suspected gunmen fled from the area in an unknown direction.
It was unclear if the victim was at the station pumping gas.
Police did not have a description of the suspected shooters.
