Man Sentenced to 26 Years to Life in Prison for Girlfriend's Stabbing

San Bernardino County Man sentenced to life in prison for stabbing of girlfriend.

A San Bernardino County man convicted of fatally stabbing his girlfriend inside a Burbank home was sentenced Thursday, to 26 years to life in state prison.

Timothy Aguilar Andrade, 32, of Hesperia, was found guilty on May 16 of first-degree murder with a knife use allegation stemming from the Aug. 23, 2015, attack on his girlfriend, Brandi Carrasco.

Andrade stabbed the 35-year-old woman in the neck inside a bedroom of a house in the 1900 block of Richard Street where they were both staying, prosecutors said.

Andrade was arrested two days later by Burbank police.
