Man's Body Removed from MacArthur Park Lake

Firefighters removed a man's body from MacArthur Park Lake Thursday morning, authorities said.

The Los Angeles Police Department received a report about the body at about 8:10 a.m. and responded to 2200 West. 6th Street, officers said.

The body was reported to the LA Fire Department as a drowning, according to an LAFD official.

An LA County Coroner's official was headed to the scene.
