LA County Fair Baby Animals Take Over Union Station

Baby animals such as goats, bunnies, a miniature pony and a calf will be on display to greet passengers and encourage people to take the Metrolink on weekends to the fair.

Metrolink passengers saw a few new faces Thursday while waiting for their commute as the Los Angeles County Fair petting zoo will take over the East Portal of Union Station.

From 6 a.m. to 8 a.m., baby animals such as goats, bunnies, a miniature pony and a calf were on display to greet passengers and encourage people to take the Metrolink on weekends to the fair.

After the meet and greet with a few beloved faces from the fair, the animals will board train 304 and head back to the petting zoo.

Metrolink is offering passengers a $10 weekend pass that offers unlimited travel on Saturday or Sunday. To further encourage people to take public transportation to the seasonal event, the LA County Fair is offering passengers special pricing for single-day admission tickets. Adults will be able to pay $12 and children $6 when purchasing the tickets online.
