2 Killed in Crash of Arizona Sheriff's Chopper

Two civilian contractors were killed after the helicopter they were riding in crashed in southern Arizona, the Cochise County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday night. The helicopter was leased by the same sheriff's department for law enforcement missions as needed said Carol Capas, a sheriff's spokeswoman. The two contractors — a pilot and a mechanic, whose identities weren't immediately disclosed — were returning from a routine maintenance run when the helicopter crashed.
