Dad Charged in Overheating Death of Baby Son

A Georgia father who left his 22-month-old son in the back of an SUV while he was at work has been charged with murder, police said Thursday. Temperatures in metro Atlanta reached a high of 91 degrees on Wednesday when the deadly incident occurred. Witnesses said the father was distraught and screaming by the car when he discovered his dead son. He is being held in jail without bond. Just two days earlier, a father in Florida was accused of forgetting his 9-month-old daughter in the backseat of his pickup.
