Neiman Marcus is relishing its moment in the spotlight with a new addition to its furniture collection. And frankly, we can see why.
The department store is now selling a “Hot Dog” sofa. The sofa is made in Italy by designer Seletti, and costs a mere $7,100, plus tax. Chicagoans will be quick to note there is no ketchup on this polyester pork product but there is a pickle and a tomato slice-shaped pillow.
Neiman Marcus is also selling a “Burger Chair” for $4,950, plus tax.
The sofa weighs approximately 1,433 pounds and is getting notoriety on Twitter.
“That is a lot of meat,” one Twitter user said.
Other users are asking for vegetarian options and some are questioning why there is a pickle and tomato slice-shaped pillow on top of a hot dog.
