Amber Rose Snaps Back at Trolls Who Called Her Son ‘Gay'

Rose urged her followers to change the stigma of hyper-masculinity in society and "do better for the next generation" of kids

Don't come for Amber Rose's kid.

Model and activist Rose clapped back at trolls on Instagram who called her five-year-old son Sebastian Rose 'gay' for liking Taylor Swift's music.

After Rose posted a video of her son reacting to VIP tickets concert tickets from Swift, she was met with backlash by some online who were disturbed by Sebastian Rose's enthusiasm.

Rose responded to the negative comments Wednesday on her Instagram story. "Regardless if he's gay or straight when he gets older he will be around the most amazing loving people that will support him no matter what," Rose wrote.

The "Loveline with Amber Rose" host told fans that she and her ex-husband, rapper Wiz Khalifa, refuse to force their son to live by the norms of society, and that taste in music doesn't determine sexuality.

"We allow him to to be himself. He can listen to whatever music he likes, he can like whatever color he wants and we let him be passionate about whatever his little heart desires." Rose said.

She urged her followers to change the stigma of hyper-masculinity in society and "do better for the next generation" of kids.

According to the National Bullying Prevention Center website, 74.1 percent of LGBTQ students were verbally bullied (e.g. called names, threatened) in the past year because of their sexual orientation and 55.2 percent because of their gender expression.
