Apple To Use Pop-Ups to Sell Apple Watches

Apple is creating pop-up booths to sell its new Apple Watch, most notably at Paris retailers, reports say.

Apple is constructing these pop-ups to be placed in Paris retailers and may appear in other places, 9to5Mac reported. Apple's retail chief Angela Ahrendts is reportedly behind the new pop-ups and is "directing the construction" although Apple officially has no comment. The new smartwatches will launch in April, according to reports.

The strength of the booths is that they can appear in bigger retailers, much like Apple has sections in Target or Best Buy, so if Apple Watches sell well -- then they can appear in more places. Apple is expecting a large demand -- a 6 million unit initial order -- so it definitely has high hopes for the new product.
