Asian Americans are growing faster than any other group in the U.S., a trend that started in 2010 and is driven by immigration, NBC News reported. The growth rate for America's Asian population is 2.9% — that's faster than Hispanics (2.1%), African Americans (1.2%) and Native Hawaiians and Other Pacific Islanders (2.3%). There are 19.4 million Asian Americans in the U.S., according to Census Bureau data.
