Aurora police say they are searching for a man who allegedly stole two shopping bags from an eight-year-old girl who had purchased several items using her birthday money.
Police say that the incident occurred at the Round One Entertainment Center at the Fox Valley Mall on April 7. Police say the unidentified man picked up two Justice store shopping bags and left the mall.
The bags were full of items purchased by a girl, who used her birthday money to buy herself the items.
If anyone has information on the man’s identity, they are encouraged to call Aurora detectives at 630-256-5500, or to call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 630-892-1000. Callers to that line can remain anonymous, and could be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.
