Emilio Estevez: Charlie Sheen “A Different Guy”

Goddesses may be abandoning him, but at least Charlie Sheen can still rely on family.

While making an appearance on Access Hollywood, Sheen's brother Emilio Estevez - who had been very critical of Sheen's public meltdown in the past - reassured everyone that Charlie is doing a lot better these days.

“He’s a different guy. He’s a completely different guy,” said Estevez. “He’s got his voice back. And I think he’s got his focus. He’s on a new show and he’s gonna be roasted by Comedy Central – which I think is going to be hysterical. I think that he’s really got it together. And he’s very excited about the crew of the show he’s putting together.”

"The show" Estevez refers to, of course, is the slowly-gestating TV series based on the Adam Sandler/Jack Nicholson comedy "Anger Management," which Sheen is developing with producer Joe Roth's Revolution Television.

Earlier this year, Estevez and father Martin Sheen were much more dour about Sheen's condition, with the senior Sheen even going so far as to compare Charlie's problems to cancer.

Maybe things are looking up, though.
