Facebook has decided to emulate Snapchat and is now testing disappearing status updates, reports say.
The new Facebook feature will let users make their posts disappear after an hour up to seven days, according to information provided to CNN. A Facebook spokesman said that the test feature is a "small pilot" only available to a lucky few using the Facebook application on iOS devices.
Some of those users have been posting pictures of the test, including one pointing out that Facebook gives users seven options to set their posts to disappear at: 1, 3, 6 12 and 24 hours, and 2 or 7 days.
