Facebook Tries to End Paul Ceglia ‘Shakedown'

Lawyers move to have suit of alleged agreement dismissed.

One of the world's richest men is alleging that he is being shaken down and he wants it to stop.

Facebook is looking to end a lawsuit brought by a New York man who says Mark Zuckerberg signed an agreement to give him half of the company.

Paul Ceglia says Zuckerberg agreed to the deal in 2003 but Facebook's lawyers say they have prove that the deal was faked two years ago and the lawsuit is nothing more than a "shakedown."

"Since Day One, this case has been about pressuring us into writing a check and from Day One, we've said that's not going to happen," Orin Snyder, a lawyer for Facebook, said during a federal court hearing Tuesday.

Facebook filed a motion to dismiss the suit but the presiding judge said the company should give Ceglia's lawyers more time to question its experts.
