Google launched a new logo on Thursday, following in the footsteps of Yahoo and Bing.
The new logo looks much like the old one, except the company did away with the textured font, creating a flatter look. The colors are brighter and some of the shading was removed.
"As part of this design, we’ve also refined the color palette and letter shapes of the Google logo," the company said in a blog post.
The search giant also freshened up their Google bar for a more "streamline" experience across products and devices.
Earlier this month, Yahoo adopted a new logo for the first time since the company's founding 18 years ago.
