Health Worker Diagnosed With Ebola in Scotland

A health care worker who returned home to Scotland from Sierra Leone has been diagnosed with Ebola and is being quarantined and treated, Scottish authorities said Monday. "All possible contacts with the patient are now being investigated and anyone deemed to be at risk will be contacted and closely monitored," although the risk for infection of others is "considered extremely low," the Scottish government said in a statement. The patient, who was not identified, is the first Ebola case to be diagnosed in Britain.
