Kelsey Grammer Gets Wife's Name Tattooed on Waistline

"Frasier" star said it was his first one

Kelsey Grammer made an impromptu visit to a tattoo shop in Chicago Saturday and inked his new wife's name on his waistline.

Grammer, who was in town taping the Starz show "Boss," got inked at Insight Studios, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Shop owner Bob Jones told the paper that Grammer got his wife's name, Kayte Walsh, tattooed on his waistline. Grammer said it was hist first tattoo, Jones said.

A 21-year-old employee at the front counter didn't recognize Grammer, 57, and asked to see his ID before she'd let him get the tattoo, the paper reported.

Tattoo artist James Eastwood, 23, did the honors. "He's the only famous person I've ever tattooed," Eastwood told the Sun-Times. "He's a pretty down-to-earth dude."

The tattoo reportedly cost $60 and was the cheapest the store offered.

Grammer has been married four times. The "Frasier" and "Cheers" star wed flight attendant Kayte Walsh back in February.

His previous marriage to Camille Grammer fell apart while she was appearing on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
