Lizzy Caplan's “Queens of Country” Trailer About as Strange as Expected

We've been hearing for some time now about Lizzy Caplan's "Queens of Country," the story of a young woman who finds an iPod filled with her favorite music and decides the owner must be her soul mate. The film also stars under-appreciated funnymen Matt Walsh and Ron Livingston, as well as Tool frontman James Maynard Keenan. A trailer has finally arrived and, well, see for yourself...

We've had our eye on Caplan for a while now, and thought that with the demise of the dearly departed "Party Down" (if you haven't seen it, find it--now!) she was ready for her moment. But since then she's only come out with a string of TV guest spots and minor film roles. We'd been hoping that "Queens" would be here break, but it's clearly way to out there for the general public, and doesn't look to be quite funny enough for cult status.

"Queens of Country" should be here in 2012.
