Meet ‘NuBo': ‘Britain's Got Talent's' New Surprise Superstar

Move over SuBo – it's "NuBo's" time to shine.

After Susan Boyle was launched into superstardom in 2009 following her "Britain's Got Talent" audition in Glasgow, Scotland — a new star appears to have been born during this season's stop in the same city.

Janey Cutler, an 81-year-old great-grandmother, wowed the judges and the audience with her performance of Edith Piaf's "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien (No Regrets)" – and has become the latest "Talent" viral video sensation in the process.

"I like singing and my friends said, 'Janey, go for it!' Better late than never," she smiled in a clip from her audition posted online.

The pint-sized powerhouse – who had to be escorted onto the stage by one of the show's hosts — surprised the "Britain's Got Talent" judges with her booming voice, leading to a standing ovation from the thousands in attendance – and the members of the judges' table.

"I did not expect you to have a set of lungs on you like that," judge Amanda Holden beamed. "You're so tiny and you have such a massive voice. It was spectacular."

Simon Cowell asked Janey if her performance was the moment of a lifetime.

"How many years have you waited to do that?" he asked the mother of seven/grandmother of 13/great-grandmother of four.

"I'm just thankful I am here tonight," she humble smiled after a pause.

As for the comparisons to Susan Boyle, and her newfound moniker of "NuBo" – aka, the New Boyle – Janey said she'd rather stand on her own.

"I'm on my own and that's it," she said during an interview on CBS' "The Early Show" on Monday. "I don't compare myself to anyone."
