Google's free email service Gmail went down for some users Friday afternoon across the U.S., Europe and Canada, NBC News reported. "We're investigating reports of an issue with Gmail. We will provide more information shortly," Google's App Status Dashboard confirmed at 2:12 p.m. The outage came as members of Google's Site Reliability Engineering team were answering questions on Reddit, TechCrunch noted.
