Lady Gaga to Host Thanksgiving Special

The singer, who has been known to wear—not eat—the main course, will spend the holiday hosting a television special called “A Very Gaga Thanksgiving.”

If there’s one thing Lady Gaga won’t be doing, it will be having a normal Thanksgiving, passing the gravy and mashed potatoes to Uncle Lenny and sitting through endless football games.

Instead, the singer, who has been known to wear—not eat—the main course, will spend the holiday hosting a television special called “A Very Gaga Thanksgiving.”

For the special, ABC’s Katie Couric says she’ll find out some juicy nuggets about the outlandish singer. “This is a chance to see more of who [Lady Gaga] is beneath the wild costumes and staged musical numbers,” Couric said.

Tell-all interviews aside, Gaga will be performing several songs throughout the night, including “The Edge of Glory,” “Marry the Night,” and “Lady and the Tramp,” in a duet with Tony Bennett.

She'll also sing holiday staples like "White Christmas."

Gaga won’t disappoint from a culinary standpoint, either. She’s slated to make deep-fried turkey and waffles with celebrity chef Art Smith.

The 90-minute special airs November 24 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
