A curious Colorado man shot himself in the foot because he was curious about how it felt to be shot, police say. Adam Hirtle, 34, told a police officer he was in his garage with a gun on hand when his curiosity got the better of him. "He wanted to know what it felt like to be shot," police said in a statement. Hirtle "took his boot off and shot it, then placed his boot back on his foot and then intentionally shot himself in the foot," they said. He was charged with prohibited use of weapons and reckless endangerment.
