OneRepublic Drummer Jailed for Alleged Assault on Girlfriend

The rocker's girlfriend told the local Fox affiliate he pushed her through her cabinets.

The drummer for hit-making rock band OneRepublic was arrested Tuesday for allegedly going on a violent rampage at his girlfriend's Denver home.

Eddie Fisher, 38, was being held on suspicion of assault, disturbing the peace and destruction of private property, according to police, Denver's ABC affiliate 7 News reported.

According to his girlfriend Loni Rae, what ended in those charges had begun as a verbal argument.

“Things just got out of hand, and he snapped… and my entire cabinets are ripped off from my walls,” Rae told local Fox affiliate Fox 31 Denver.

“I had my feet up against the wall trying not to let him in, and he busted through the door, and he pushed me through the cabinets," she said.

In a photograph of him just after his arrest, which E! News reported took place just after 1 a.m. Tuesday, he had a bloody gash on his forehead.

He is reportedly being held without bond in a Denver jail and is slated to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
