Phoenix Shooting Suspect Found Dead: Police

The suspected gunman in Wednesday's deadly shooting in a Phoenix office complex has been found in the bushes in a nearby city, police said Thursday. The suspected gunman, identified as Arthur Douglas Harmon, 70, was dead of an apparent gunshot wound, they said. According to police, Harmon had shot three people, killing one of them, during an altercation after a meeting at a law office over pending litigation. He fled in a rented white Kia Optima, and his body was found near a Logan Roadhouse restaurant in nearby Mesa, Ariz. Harmon is believed to have shot and killed 48-year-old chief executive Steve Singer and to have shot and injured a 43-year-old lawyer, who is in critical condition, and a 32-year-old woman, whose injuries were not life-threatening.
