About three thousand people gathered at a local church in Arvada, Colo. Thursday to mourn the death of 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway, whose dismembered body was discovered in a park last week, NBC News reported. Those who attended the memorial at Faith Bible Chapel were dressed in purple, Jessica's favorite color. The case made national headlines following Jessica's disappearance on Oct. 5, with hundreds of police officers, bloodhounds and scores of volunteers searching for clues to her whereabouts. Fear has since gripped the community, as police have cautioned that the person they are looking for could be an experienced killer, based on the condition of Jessica's body. “It’s someone who’s fully capable of doing something like this again,” said Former FBI profiler Clint Van Zandt.
