Gloria Cain Backs Out of Fox Interview

Herman Cain's wife, Gloria, has canceled plans to appear on Fox News Friday as reports about sexual harassment claims against the presidential candidate continue to crescendo, The New York Times reports. Someone close to the talks told the paper Thursday that Gloria did not entirely close the door to interviews with Fox News in the future. Gloria Cain has been absent from her husband's campaign and has yet to defend him since he began fighting allegations that he sexually harassed women while leading the National Restaurant Association in the '90s. But Cain, and those who say they know his wife of 43 years, say "she's still 200% supportive" of the candidate. "She has her own activities, but she's fully supportive of everything he does," said Matt Carrothers, who worked for Cain from 2004 to 2007.
