Group Calls for Johnson & Johnson Boycott

A health and environmental coalition is urging shoppers to boycott Johnson & Johnson shampoos until the company agrees to remove carcinogens from its products. Johnson & Johnson already makes a new version of baby shampoo without formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, but still has the original version on shelves in the U.S. and other countries, says the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics. In a statement, Johnson & Johnson said the chemicals are safe but are phasing them out in all its baby products.
