New York Themed Pastries Featured in Dominique Ansel's Special Summer Collection

The treats are available at his namesake bakery located in the SoHo neighborhood of NYC

To celebrate Dominique Ansel’s 15 years in New York City, the pastry chef has created a series of nine treats inspired by his time living in the Big Apple.

“I just wanted to celebrate my time here in New York,” Ansel said. “I’ve learned a lot about the culture, about the city, about the food, about what makes New York so special.”

The limited time collection includes an “Everything Bagel” pavlova, a Bodega Coffee tiramisu and a Taxi-shaped salted caramel eclair.

He also gave viewers an inside look into how he creates these desserts. The first is a pretzel shaped cake with a peanut butter mousse and soft caramel inside.

The hot dog dessert is another item on his menu. This sweet treat is made out of lady fingers, almond ganache, and raspberry cream dipped in strawberry chocolate.

A third dessert takes inspiration from pizza. It is a white mousse with an almond cake inside, topped with strawberries and white chocolate.

The collection is available through September 2.
