The Oklahoma inmate who died in a botched execution was given a lethal injection through his groin because a specialist was unable to find an acceptable spot on his arms, legs or feet. The new details came in a letter from the chief of Oklahoma's prison agency to the state's governor. The prison chief also revealed that Clayton Lockett was Tasered and cut his own arm in the hours before the execution.
