Despite the rumor, Paula Abdul isn't heading to the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Earlier this week, the National Enquirer reported that Oprah gave her "personal go-ahead" to film a pilot for a talk show starring the former "Idol" judge for OWN. The paper reported that Paula was going to have celebrity guests and regular people "telling inspirational stories."
But, when contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for OWN said on Tuesday that there was "no truth to the rumor." Additionally, a rep for Paula could not confirm the rumor.
Earlier this month, Paula dropped a hint about her post-"Idol" career plans during an appearance on the "John Jay & Rich Show."
"Drop a clue? Oh, I'm gonna be going back to my roots and doing a TV show that has something to do with my roots," she told the radio DJs last week.
Various reports have surfaced suggesting Simon Cowell is in talks with Paula to bring her to "X Factor," his reality singing competition he will launch on FOX in Fall 2011. Neither Simon nor Paula have confirmed the rumors.
There was also a report in January suggesting Paula was offered $1 million to join the cast of "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC.
