The "Dancing Cuddle Bear" app, the same one that features a pedophile mascot known as PedoBear, has been removed from Apple's app store -- after about two weeks of being available to the public.
The free app featured "a stylish way to interact with the one and only Cuddle Bear and his new 11 hip hop dance moves." All the better to impress the kids at the playground, right?
Creepy as the app was, the Cuddle Bear hat that was offered as an ad within the app was probably even moreso. According to Guyism.com, the lid was $20 and available at CatchKuma.com with the marketing tag of being a "supercute Pedobear Plush Hat." Yikes.
The Smoking Gun first noticed the naughty app had creeped into the app store, getting past the notoriously conservative gatekeepers. They also report that the app was created by developer Ronald Bell.
How were hat sales? Around 2,000 were sold, according to the Gun and Catch Kuma's founder, Erick Ho. That's worth about 2,000 more 'yikes.'
