It was big news that Sprint got the iPhone 4S when it launched, leaving only T-Mobile as a major carrier without Apple's phone. Now comes word that another U.S. carrier is getting the 4S. And that carrier is… C-Spire?
If you've never heard of C-Spire, don't worry. It's a regional carrier based in the south, formerly known as Cellular South. It's a much, much smaller carrier than old T-Mobile, and it's not entirely clear why T-Mo is being left out in the cold with this device. But hey, if you're a C-Spire customer, you've got a fancy new option.
The company is taking pre-orders now, and should ship "in the coming weeks."
