Rosie O'Donnell has admitted she is feeling a little nervous over her return to daytime television this fall on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
"My kids said to me before I got here, 'Don't worry mom, you're still funny' and I'm like, 'Mmmmm, not so sure,'" Rosie said in a clip posted on the OWN website of her first day on the set, which occurred earlier this week.

Rosie admitted her trip into Chicago, where she has an apartment to live in while she films the show, got off to a bad start.
"There was a fire in the control tower," she told members of her show's staff of her plane ride. "We had to circle for two hours with no contact. I thought that would be really weird to be killed on my way to my first day."
The returning talk show host heads back to daytime in October 2012, and her first day in her new studios was met with applause from her new staff – many members of which are from Oprah's old crew.
"It's an excited, young staff and there was amazing food at the welcoming party — bologna and cheese sandwiches without crust. Really, what else does a person need?" Rosie said on the tape, posted to the OWN website.
As she completed her day, Rosie said she was looking forward to starting her show, and trying out some local flavors.
"It's a long time ago that we decided to do this and so, it's kind of shocking and I'm excited," she said. "I'm going to get myself some deep dish pizza… I'm pretty sure that's on my diet."
And she sure did. Rosie showed off her pizza choice online. Click HERE to see her pie.
