Sarah Jessica Parker Drops $18.995M on Townhouse?

Much speculation has surrounded Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's epic New York City housing search that has brought the duo downtown, uptown, and everywhere in between (even reportedly to the stroller-laden hood of Park Slope, Brooklyn). According to the Observer, the power couple recently ended their three year hunt and allegedly plunked down $18.995 million for a townhouse at 20 East 10th Street.

Located in Greenwich Village, the townhouse in question is 165 years old and done up in the Greek Revival style. The Daily News dug up a listing for the renovated property that includes fourteen rooms, five bedrooms, seven wood-burning fireplaces, and a mega security system with five security cameras.

Over its 165-year life span, the spectacular townhouse has changed hands only four times. If the rumors are true, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick look to be lucky owners number five.
