Second “Marvel One Shot” Short Film Already Online

When the "Avengers" dust finally settles, fans may end up loving Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson even more than his more glamorous co-workers.

The second "Marvel One Shot" - short films shot specifically for the DVD/Blu-ray releases of "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger," meant to bridge the action of the individual movies leading up "The Avengers" - has arrived online in its entirety, and it sheds even more light on just what the seemingly unassuming Coulson is capable of. Titled "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer," it takes place between "Iron Man 2" and "Thor."

It also features the introduction of a whole new Marvel character!

Little Debbie! (As introduced in "Journey Into Pastry #23")

We kid. Of course, the eagle-eyed and incredibly detail-oriented will notice the name of the gas station Coulson just happens to stumble upon out in the middle of nowhere.

Roxxon, if you want to impress the gang at your next graphic novel book club, is the name of a fictitious oil/energy conglomerate that has had shadowy ties with S.H.I.E.L.D. and may have been behind the death of Tony Stark's father. The current CEO once used the "Cosmic Cube" (the all-powerful cube sought by The Red Skull in "Captain America") to gain control of the corporation's many "interests."

That's right, folks. Once you start down the Marvel rabbit hole...Anyway, enjoy the entertaining short right here:

"Captain America: The First Avenger" arrives on DVD and Blu-ray October 25th
