Anonymous, the loose collective of hackers, activists, and troublemakers were prohibited from making a news group on Google+. So they're gonna build their own social network. So much for being anonymous?
I'm not quite sure what the benefit of a social network designed to connect individuals would be to a group that completely eschews individualism. What info will anyone put in their profiles? "I also like V for Vendetta"?
It seems that they're looking to make a place that's censorship-free for disseminating information. Well, why not host a blog? Or use Twitter, which seemed content to let LulzSec release password dumps via the service.
