Anyone remember Myspace? It's that website people used to use before Facebook took over the social networking world?
Well, Myspace may be back from the brink to join Google+ and Facebook in the social media race — and this time, Justin Timberlake’s bringing Myspace back.
Wait, what? So JT is trying to jump-start Myspace, hot on the heels of the Facebook flick "The Social Network"??

Specific Media, an advertising network located in Irvine, Calif., invited Timberlake to the team to serve as the creative force of Myspace.
"As we were looking at Myspace as the one we wanted to partner with, there was also a need to invigorate the Myspace brand. We needed to find one of the most talented artists we could get to really drive the creative strategy. The first name on that list was obviously Timberlake,” Specific Media CEO Tim Vanderhook told BBB.
The idea to renovate Myspace occurred about a year ago when Vanderhook wanted his advertising business to transform to something bigger — something that will attract more users and become a digital media company.
Sold for $35 million on June 30th, Myspace is now aimed to have a different approach for its users. “There’s a need for a place where fans can go to interact with their favorite entertainers, listen to music, watch videos, share and discover cool stuff and just connect.
"MySpace has the potential to be that place,” Timberlake said in a statement that Mashable.com picked up.
And if Timberlake can pull off a resurrection of Myspace, he can probably bank that "The Social Network: Part 2" will rake at the box office.
