There's a new caveat to new members looking to sign up for Spotify's music streaming service: a Facebook account is required. Talk about chaining a huge ball to your leg.
That's right, if you didn't sign up for a Spotify account already, the only way to access the service from here on out is with a Facebook account. What if you've been wanting to jump on Spotify, but hate Facebook with a passion and have left it for Google+? Well, you're out of luck, because that's just how it is.

Sucks for the n00bs, doesn't it? What's worse is if this ends up becoming a trend. Should I choose to ditch FB in the future, I'll also have to ditch the other services that I do want to retain.
