"Jersey Shore" stars Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi are looking towards their future – one of them hopes to break into acting while the other is sure to continue partying in Seaside Heights.
Following reports of a cast strike and intense contract negotiations, MTV announced this week that the cast would return for more "GTL" shenanigans in Jersey following their time in Miami. The second portion of the new season will be billed as "Jersey Shore" Season 3 – but will two of the show's biggest stars return for even more "Shore?"

"I would do another season just to cement the longevity of The Situation," The Situation recently told Entertainment Weekly. "And then move on to scripted [projects], almost like going from high school to college."
As for Snooki – the pint-sized Princess of Poughkeepsie whose fondness of pickles, her poof and juiced-up gorillas helped capture America's heart – said her future on the hit MTV series is uncertain.
"Honestly, I think the first season and the second season are more than enough for me," Snooki told the mag. "Regardless, if I am on the show or not, I will still be at the Shore doing my thing."
"Jersey Shore" Season 2 premiers on MTV on July 29.
