“Three Musketeers” Parries “Three Musketeers” Development

Will one of the two "Three Musketeers" movies please blink? Just change your title or throw in the towel.

Logan Lerman is in talks to play D'Artagnan in Paul W.S. Anderson's version of "The Three Musketeers," reported Heat Vision, with Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans  and Matthew Macfadyen cast as his fellow swashbucklers, Porthos, Athos and Aramis.

While the heroes are all lesser known, Anderson is wisely pursuing major talent for his bad guys, with Oscar winner Christoph Waltz as Cardinal Richelieu and Mads Mikkelsen as Rochefort, while Orlando Bloom is being sought to play the Duke of Buckingham.

And it wouldn't be a Paul W.S. Anderson movie without the missus, as Milla Jovovich will take the role of Milady de Winter, who's being described as a "17th century Bond girl." Of course she is.

This flurry of casting news comes just a day after it was announced that Doug Liman will be directing a "Three Musketeers" for Warner Bros. Can't wait to see how Liman responds' to today's announcement. These two projects can play announcement tennis until one of them collapses in a heap of fatigue.
