Kevin Durant scored 19 points, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James added 18 apiece. "Anything less than this would have been unsatisfying for us," Anthony said. "We believe that we could get here and we're here now. We got one game left. The Americans kept pulling ahead only to see the Argentines climb back in — until James and Durant finally put them away for good. The Dream Team will face Spain, which beat Russia in the other semifinal, for gold on Sunday. The U.S. beat Spain in Beijing. The U.S entered the semifinal game fresh off a big win earlier in the week when they defeated Australia in their quarterfinal match-up on Wednesday 119-86.
