From ‘Man in the High Castle' to ‘Barry,' a few Weekend TV Binge Options at Your Fingertips

Not quite up to braving the crowds to see 'Rogue One?' Here are some other entertainment options at your fingertips

Shopping list all wrapped up? Got a little extra time on your hands this weekend? Here are a few suggestions for everyone from the brave souls willing to battle the crowds to see the next Star Wars flick to those couch potatoes who'd much rather pull up a bag of chips and a laptop and start streaming.

Looking for a night out? You might have heard something about a tiny little film which opened Friday night called "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."

Starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Forest Whitaker and Donnie Yen, the film sets up the epic Star Wars saga we've all come to know and spend tons of money on.

But maybe braving the crowds at the theater isn't your thing. No worries. Got you covered. There's plenty of entertainment within fingertips reach right on your laptop, tablet or other streaming-ready device. A complete list of Netflix new offerings during the month of December can be found here. But we've gone through the list and picked a few of the standouts for you.

Haven't caught up with the Tanner clan yet? Here's your chance with the second season of "Fuller House."

The film "Barry" depicts a young Barack Obama, as he arrives in New York City in the fall of 1981 to begin his junior year at Columbia University. The future president of the United States finds himself pulled between various social spheres and struggles to maintain a series of increasingly strained relationships with his Kansas-born mother, his estranged Kenyan father, and his classmates.

In the mood for an 80's flashback? Want to see the movie that made Eddie Murphy a star? Curious why Judge Reinhold was famous before his recent arrest? Put your hands down "Fast Time at Ridgefield High" fanatics. You can catch "Beverly Hills Cop" which began streaming earlier this month.

In the mood for more serious fare? Then there's "Captive," which details the dangerous world of hostage negotiation. Victims, negotiators, and kidnappers give an unprecedented look at what it means to be held captive.

Still not quite your cup of tea? Netflix isn't the only streaming service in town. Let your fingers do the walking over to Amazon Prime. A few of their more recent arrivals may suit your binging needs.

Season 2 of "Man in the High Castle" continues its dark exploration into what life would be like if the Nazis had won World War II.

And finally if science fiction is more your speed you can try "The Expanse," a Syfy drama about a future where Earth's inhabitants are living on an asteroid belt.

Happy binging.
